Critical Worldviews Final
Using Jugaad practices as both a practical and aesthetic means of production, I use post-it-notes in combination with emerging aesthetic practices to argue that revelatory aesthetic techniques and practices will always be hindered and subverted by the dominant culture. Jugaad is considered a practice for those who don’t have money or options, but what if it was through these circumstances where creativity thrives? Through the alternative use of material, methods of thinking and practice, we can produce some fantastic new and profound results. Too long have preconceived notions of what is and it is not correct, or the ‘proper’ way to do something defined people at large.
